Job Functions:

• Conduct QC inspections for all new system installations
• Supervise HVAC Service and Install Techs
• Run Warranty Calls / Recalls on new system installations AS NEEDED
• Support field staff on jobs as necessary (labor technical support parts delivery etc)
• Meet with Austin Energy or City of Austin Inspectors as necessary
• Balance air or verify/adjust airflow as necessary following duct jobs
• Facilitate meetings and training sessions with HVAC Install team as needed
• Meet with the Installation Manager before the start of the day to review details of current jobs. Get crews lined out on the jobs for the day and ensure theyre loaded up and out the door by 7:30am
• Run most challenging call of the day with crew first thing then meet with crews on other jobs as day progresses
• Ensure returned materials are labeled and staged properly for the warehouse
• Have mastery of installer scripting; coach installation teams to execute at a high level
• Ensure warranty materials are turned in with the necessary information for the warehouse to process
• Develop relationships with manufacturers field reps. This will allow for updates on current technology and installation practices as well as potential trends in manufacturer defects
• Meet crew at outset of full or large scale duct replacement jobs to determine sizes and quantities based on salesmens estimates

Job Requirements:

• Current drivers license
• HVAC Technical field experience; 3-5 years minimum; Install experience specific preferred
• EPA Certification & TDLR NATE is a bonus
