Job Summary
Welcome!
The HVAC Apprentice II requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience to complete routine and standard projects and assignments within the Technician Services family. Works under general supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains a safe work environment at all times.
Performs HVAC equipment maintenance serviceand/or replacement as directed.
Documents work process hours daily.
Attends related training classes and completes assigned training modules.
Completes written tests and performance profiles as required by the apprenticeship program.
Minimum Job Requirements
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
The ability tomanage time well follow the health and safety protocols and have a strong desire to learn.
Successfully completed HVAC Technical School.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
Effective and efficient time-management and organizational skills
Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to stand and walk and to climb ladders and attic stairs and to maneuver in attics basements and crawl spaces to access HVAC units. Ability to continually climb balance stoop kneel crouch and/or crawl.
Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions including but not limited to the following: hot cold outdoor indoor dry humid slippery surfaces heights and congested areas
Ability to safely climb 300lb load capacity rated ladders with a 30lb tool belt
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Moderate physical activity including: lifting to50lbs and extended periods of walking and standing.
Working in a combination of environments including: inside buildings outside in various types of weather in hot attics crawlspaces and basements.
Minimum Experience: 0-1 years Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
