Our office is fast paced with many activities going on simultaneously. We love what we do and go to great lengths to make ourselves available to our clients. We have offices in Los Angeles San Diego Oakland and Las Vegas.
Job Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to assist all Human Resources-related issues within the HR Manager. The HR specialist is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint and Access).
Working knowledge of all local state and federal employment laws
Ability to effectively explain information to others
CPR/first aid certification
OSHA training
Human Resources Specialist Duties:
Assist HR Manager with managing associates to identify and resolve employee relations issues training and recruitment needs wage and compensation issues and benefit administration issues.
Track and ensure all employees are update to date on all necessary training required for their position
Assist HR Manager in conducting investigations to resolve associate complaints and inquiries workers compensation claims and to ensure Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) compliance.
Ensure Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training is conducted and that the proper safety policies and procedures are in place and are followed by associates.
Assist HR Manager in managing the disciplinary process within the company including associate discharge.
Maintain records to track associate attendance.
Monitor associate compliance to Platinum Security policies and procedures communicated by the corporate office.
Job Type: Full-time In Person Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
