SRC Refrigeration is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team! We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will be responsible for administering and managing all Human Resources activities including Benefits Administration Payroll Processing Employee Engagement and other daily activities of the Human Resources The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment be organized motivated detail-oriented and driven. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a strategy.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Recruits interviews hires and trains new staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Partners with the local operations leadership to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs recruiting retention and succession planning.
  • Provides support and guidance to management staff when complex specialized and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations investigating allegations of wrongdoing and terminations.
  • Manages the talent acquisition process which may include recruitment interviewing and hiring ofqualified job applicants particularly for non-exempt roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings terminations and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends best practices regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources talent management and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Safety Responsibilities

  • Lead site safety initiatives including new hire orientation annual training and first responder coordination
  • Support incident reporting tracking and compliance efforts to maintain accurate safety records and drive continuous improvement
  • Partner with leadership to facilitate safety communications committee activities and ongoing risk prevention efforts
  • Serve as a liaison for work related injuries coordinating with employees leadership and medical providers
  • Support environmental and safety programs including audits inspections and proper handling of hazardous materials
