Job Summary

Were currently seeking a skilled and people-focused Human Resources Manager to oversee and lead all aspects of our HR operations with a special emphasis on recruiting employee relations compliance training payroll administration and overall team engagement.

What Youll Do:
  • Lead all HR functions in accordance with DoubleTree by Hilton standards and applicable federal/state laws.

  • Partner with the General Manager and department leaders to support staffing development and culture goals.

  • Recruit interview and assist in selecting qualified candidates for open positions.

  • Administer new hire on-boarding employee orientation and training programs (compliance safety guest service and anti-harassment).

  • Maintain compliance with labor laws OSHA regulations and internal policies.

  • Address employee relations issues and manage investigations grievances and disciplinary actions.

  • Support and coach managers on performance reviews corrective action and staff development.

  • Process payroll accurately and timely ensuring compliance with wage and hour regulations.

  • Manage timekeeping records and coordinate with third-party payroll providers when necessary.

  • Oversee benefits administration employee leave and workers compensation processes.

  • Monitor workplace safety and serve on the hotels safety committee.

  • Maintain up-to-date personnel files handbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Prepare and manage the HR department budget.

What Were Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • 23 years of progressive HR experience ideally in a hotel or hospitality setting

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related field preferred

  • PHR or SPHR certification is a plus but not required

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance employment law and best practices

  • Experience processing payroll and managing payroll systems

  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Publisher)

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required

Physical Requirements:
  • Mostly sedentary work with occasional walking stair climbing and standing

  • Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds

  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings weekends and holidays as needed
