Job Summary

Job Description

The Human Resources Manageris responsible foradministering the Companys human resources programs with primary responsibility for employee benefits administration and full-cycle recruiting. This position also supports onboarding employee relations HR compliance performance management policy administration and HRIS maintenance. The HR Manager serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while ensuring compliance with federal state and local employment laws and company policies.

The ideal candidate is highly organized service-oriented detail-focused and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting both commercial and government contracting role islocatedonsite in our Bingen WA role reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Objectives of this Role

HR Operations

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation.

  • Prepare new hire documentation.

  • Maintain employee personnel files.

  • Process employee status changes.

  • Maintain HRIS data integrity.

  • Assistwith career development and performance review administration

  • Support employee recognition and engagement programs.

  • Assistmanagers with employee relations issues.

  • Coordinate employee training activities and records.

  • Support offboarding processes.

  • Support timekeeping activities.

  • Support payroll processing activities.

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruitmentlifecycleincluding:

  • Job postings

  • Candidatesourcing

  • Resume screening

  • Interview scheduling

  • Candidate communications

  • Offer preparation

  • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and job requirements.

  • Coordinate background checks reference checks and pre-employment screenings.

  • Maintainapplicanttracking records.

  • Manage relationships with recruiting agencies and external talent sources.

Benefits Administration

  • Manage relationship with 3rdparty benefits broker for benefits administration activities

  • Administer all employee benefit programs (Medical Dental Vision Insurance 401K FSA/HSAetc)

  • Manage annual Open Enrollment process including employee education and communication.

  • Coordinate benefit enrollments changes qualifying life events and terminations.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with benefit brokers and insurance carriers.

  • Resolve employee benefit issues and questions.

  • Review and reconcile monthly benefit invoices.

  • Assistwith annual benefits renewal process and benchmarking.

Compliance & Administration

  • Maintain compliance with federal state and local employment laws.

  • Assistwith audits including:

  • Benefits

  • Payroll

  • Personnel records

  • Update HR policies and employee handbook.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

  • Prepare HR reports and workforce metrics.

  • Assistwith special HR projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field

  • 35 years of progressive Human Resources experience.

  • Minimum 2 years administering employee benefits.

  • Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience.

  • Experience supporting manufacturing orengineering-basedcompanies preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of employment law.

  • Experience administering employee benefit plans.

  • Excellent recruiting and interviewing skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • High levelof confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing deadlines.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

  • Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred).

Salary range: $85000 to $105000 based on experience
