Full-Time OnsiteOverview
Waukesha Metal Products is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to support our growing workforce in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a proactive HR professional who enjoys working directly with employees and leadership while driving HR initiatives that support safety compliance and employee engagement.
This position is based in Sussex WI with routine support provided at our Grafton facility.Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations including employee relations recruiting and onboarding
- Partner with supervisors and leadership to address workforce needs and resolve employee concerns
- Coordinate and administer benefits leave programs and HR policies
- Ensure compliance with federal state (Wisconsin) and company employment policies
- Assist with performance management disciplinary processes and documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
- Support safety initiatives and collaborate with operations in a manufacturing setting
- 37 years of HR Generalist experience preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of employment law HR best practices and compliance requirements
- Experience in employee relations recruiting and benefits administration
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems preferred
- Salary up to $75000 annually based on experience.
