Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Human Resources Generalist for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!If you love hospitality creating amazing customer experiences and the structure and benefits that come from working with a hotel company then you will love working with Omni!We are proud to announcewe ranked among the best resorts in Texas: Top 10 Resorts in the Southwest Conde Nast Travelerand Top 5 Resorts in Texas Travel Leisure WorldsBest Awards 2023Omni Barton Creek is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to provide clerical and administrative support in the Human Resources Department with associate engagement recruitment training compliance and onboarding process that align with Omni for the tracking onboarding and processing of new hires into the UltiPro HRISProfessionally and warmly interact with all guests to the Human Resources OfficeProvide administrative support to HR Director and HR leadershipAssist in the recruitment process in collaboration with corporate team HR team and hiring managersMaintain and conducts audit of associate trackers and logs i.e. New Hire Tracker Promotion/Transfer LogsEnsure proper backgrounds and pre-employment processes are followedEnsure all New Associate Files have all appropriate paperwork signed acknowledgments applicable licenses/certificatesMaintain department logs binders and employee filesEnter and maintain all associate data into UltiPro (HRIS)Maintain orderliness of office supplies and equipment and places requisitions through Birchstreet Inventory ProcurementParticipates in planning and execution of associate events planned by the Human Resources DepartmentChampions Omni culture on property and enthusiastically promotes opportunities within the hotel and companyFacilitate a culture of praise and recognition by assisting with the implementation of various employee recognition programsParticipate in the Hotel Orientation ProgramComplete other duties as assigned by managementQualifications:Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coach counsel advise mentor and motivate associates and managers at all levelsMust be flexible with schedule to include some weekendsMust be proficient using Microsoft Office SuiteHigh Volume Hotel Operations Experience Preferred1-year Human Resources Experience PreferredBilingual PreferredPhysical Requirements:The ability to sit and utilize telephone/computer for an extended Environment:Office environment with frequent travel around & Equipment:Computer copy/print/scan/fax machine filesMicrosoft Office UltiPro (HRIS) iCIMS ATS Birchstreet Sertify HireRight Equifax Kronos Adobe Learning ManagerOmni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disability.
