Noo-Kayet Investments (NKI) the economic development arm of the Port Gamble SKlallam Tribe is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Director to lead our people strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO youll guide HR operations across a diverse and growing portfolio that includes The Point Casino & Hotel food distribution retail fuel operations cannabis and commercial real estate.

What Youll Do

• Lead recruitment retention compensation benefits employee relations and performance management.
• Develop strategies that strengthen culture engagement and organizational success.
• Coach and inspire a high-performing HR team.
• Advance Tribal Member employment and professional-development opportunities.
• Lead succession planning and workforce integration for new enterprises.
• Partner with executive leadership the NKI Board Tribal Government and regulatory agencies.

What Youll Bring

• Bachelors degree and at least five years of HR management experience.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification or the ability to obtain it within six months.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Exceptional leadership communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class III Gaming License.

A graduate degree THRP certification and experience working with Tribal communities or enterprises are preferred.
