We currently hiring for a Human Resources Coordinator! Were buildinga people infrastructureand we are searching for a coordinator who wants to be part of our story.

The Human Resource Coordinator is a key support role within the HR function providing the administrative and operational backbone across the full employee life-cycle. You will partner closely with all the HR team members to deliverconsistentcompliant and people-first HR practices across our growing network of coffee locations. This is an ideal rolefor someone early in their HR career who wants broad exposure across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced high-growth environment.

This is a non-exempt role with an hourly pay range of $28.00-$35.00. This position is 100% in office in the UTC area of San Diego CA. There is no relocation available for anyone out of the area.

Onboarding & Employee Life-cycle

• Coordinate new hire onboarding logistics including offer letters I-9 verification background checks and Day 1 readiness.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS while ensure data integrity
• Support offboarding processes including separation documentation and exit interviews

HR Administration

• Serve as first pointof contact for team member inquiring routing issues appropriately
• Keep accurate records and files in accordance with state and federal requirements
• Assist with workers compensationclaims

Compliance & Policy

• Support maintenance of our handbook and policies
• Assist in tracking mandatory training completions
• Ensure wage and hour requirements including meal/rest break tracking and posting requirements
• Order and distribute required notices and postings

Recruiting Support

• Post open roles across job boards

Reporting & Projects

• Provide weekly and monthly reports as needed while supporting special projects as needed

• 1-3 years of Human Resources administrative or related experience
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• High comfort with technology and the abilityto learn new systems quickly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated abilityto handle confidentialinformationwith discretion
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with state and federal employment law basics (or strong eagerness to learn)

Preferred

• Experience in a multi-unit retail food & beverage or hospitality environment
• Exposure to HRIS platforms (Rippling UKG ADP)
• Associates or bachelors degree in HR Businessor a related field
