Rescue is a full-service marketing agency with a mission to make healthy behaviors easier and more appealing. Since our founding in 2001 Rescue has been exclusively focused on researching developing and implementing positive social change campaigns in public health. We provide research strategy creative production web traditional media social media policy change youth engagement and experiential marketing services to government non-profit and healthcare clients in over 35 states and provinces as well as to federal government agencies.
Rescues health behavior change marketing campaigns focus on topics such as tobacco obesity substance and alcohol prevention; the promotion of exercise eating healthy foods early childhood development and after school programs; and other topics that promote healthy living. Rescues behavior change campaigns focus on diverse populations within teen (13 - 17) young adult (18 - 26) and adult (18) populations in both rural and urban areas resulting in a wide variety of campaign styles and strategies.

The Job
We are looking for a dynamic high-performing Human Resources Coordinator I with a curious mind who is interested in learning the daily operations of a people-focused team and has experience in providing administrative support. The ideal candidate has a passion for behavior change a keen eye for detail a track record of wearing multiple hats and the ability to juggle varied responsibilities. This is a role for a rockstar who can hit the ground running and can take on any challenge that arises!
Day-To-Day Activities:

Day-To-Day Activities:
General HR and Employee Lifecycle
- Support company culture initiatives (staff awards celebrations volunteer program) and related company communications (e.g. monthly/quarterly newsletters).
- Complete employment verifications.
- Support recruiting by posting job positions and assisting in the hiring process.
- Support new employee onboarding efforts such as preparing and shipping welcome boxes.
- Provide general assistance within the HR department.
- Manage the HR email inbox and fax line.
Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Work with the Finance and Payroll team to prepare and process biweekly payroll and resolve payroll issues.
- Manage the tracking and verification of time off requests and timecards for nonexempt employees.
- Support the administration of company benefits (like open enrollment and qualifying events).
- Serve as the employee point of contact for benefit questions and support monthly benefit reconciliation.
HR Systems and Data Management
- Maintain and update employee records and changes across Human Resources systems (e.g. Paycom Lattice).
- Compile and review data reports for accuracy correct errors/resolve issues.
- Process documentation prepare reports relating to personnel activities and update organizational charts.
- Maintain personnel records with confidentiality.
Compliance and Regulatory Assurance
- Maintain compliance with all federal state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Assist with the adoption and implementation of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action programs.
- Assist with regulatory compliance concerning the proper maintenance of employee files and forms management.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED;
- Proven ability to generate basic qualitative and quantitative reports;
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in maintaining confidential and sensitive information;
- Flexible self-starter who can work independently with strong attention to detail and has an interest in different aspects of Human Resources;
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written;
- Proficiency with Mac Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Location: Remote. Must be available to work during MST or PST business hours.

If working from a Rescue office location able to stoop bend reach climb stairs and move freely throughout the building. Able to travel nationwide as needed to meet with clients coworkers or attend meetings and seminars. Must be able to move boxed work documents up to 40 pounds in and out of office for travel by car and by air.
