The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring positive energy professionalism be highly organized and passionate about creating a positive employee experience from recruitment through onboarding. This role requires someone who is comfortable speaking in front of groups conducting new hire orienation and supporting various stages of the recruiting process.

PAYRATE: up to $23.00 per hour commensurate with experience.

HOURS: This is a full-time position and business hours at the Boynton location is Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Longer work hours will be required on certain days.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with daily human resources functions and provides administrative support to the HR department.
  • Conducts new hire orientations and ensure new and current staff members understand organizational policies resources and benefits programs through informative employee communications.
  • Supports HR Director with full-cycle recruitment efforts including staffing events prescreening candidates scheduling and interviewing and using the applicant tracking system.
  • Conducts background checks and performs onsite fingerprinting for new hires and current staff.
  • Serves as point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits payroll and general HR matters.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university in HR or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years of experience working in the human resources field with experience completing administrative tasks such as recruitment new hire orientation facilitation and employee database management.
  • Experience with onboarding and conducting new hire orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills and public speaking experience.
