Job Summary

Inventory Control AssociatePosition SummaryThe Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring inventory integrity within the warehouse. This role supports daily warehouse operations by conducting cycle counts investigating inventory discrepancies processing inventory transactions and assisting with inventory audits. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse ResponsibilitiesPerform daily weekly and monthly cycle counts to verify inventory and resolve inventory discrepancies shortages overages and damaged accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system (WMS).Process inventory adjustments transfers and transactions in accordance with company inventory levels and report potential stock issues to with receiving put-away picking packing and shipping activities as root cause analysis for inventory variances and recommend corrective physical inventory counts and annual proper product identification labeling and storage compliance with company safety policies and warehouse with warehouse staff supervisors and other departments to improve inventory accuracy and operational inventory reports and provide updates to management as QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.12 years of inventory control warehouse or logistics experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) inventory software or ERP attention to detail and computer skills including Microsoft Excel and data to perform mathematical calculations and analyze inventory organizational and problem-solving to work independently and as part of a RequirementsAbility to stand walk bend and lift throughout the to lift up to 50 pounds to work in a warehouse environment with varying to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks forklifts or RF scanners (certification preferred).Preferred QualificationsForklift with cycle counting and inventory auditing of Lean 5S or continuous improvement in distribution manufacturing or logistics CompetenciesAttention to DetailInventory AccuracyData AnalysisTime ManagementCommunication SkillsProblem SolvingTeamworkSafety AwarenessBenefitsCompetitive payHealth dental and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysEnrollment in our ESOP program (if you meet criteria)401(k) with company matchCareer growth and development opportunitiesEqual Opportunity Employer:Martin & Bayley Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to race color religion sex national origin age disability veteran status or any other protected status under applicable law.
