HSE Manager Night Shift

The Opportunity

The HSE Manager is accountable for overseeing day-to-day safety activities within assigned operations or project this role you will implement and maintain safety programs ensure regulatory compliance and serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related issues. You will supervise site-based safety staff coordinate training and risk assessments and drive a culture of continuous improvement. The HSE Manager collaborates with operations engineering and leadership teams to identify hazards develop controls and measure safety performance.

What you will do

• Lead the creation review and implementation of safety plans procedures and technical deliverables.
• Provide subject matter expertise and mentorship to junior safety professionals.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA EPA and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Participate in and lead high-level safety reviews including those related to operational risk and complex processes.
• Plan and deliver targeted training on safety practices regulatory updates and hazard mitigation.
• Conduct and document site inspections hazard assessments and root cause analyses for incidents.
• Identify trends and recommend improvements to reduce risks and enhance safety performance.
• Collaborate with project teams engineering operations and leadership to integrate safety into all phases of work.
• Stay current with industry best practices regulatory changes and emerging technologies in safety management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety Industrial Hygiene Environmental Science Engineering or a related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction or General Industry
• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Must possess legal authorization to work in US
• Must have a valid drivers license and the ability to travel between project sites as needed.
• Knowledge and application of OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910/1926) NFPA ANSI ISO 45001 and other relevant regulations/conformance standards.
• Ability to maintain site safety records and documentation in accordance with federal state and company requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in a relevant discipline.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
• Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST)
• Additional certifications such as CIH or ASP
