HSC- Fabricator

SUMMARY:

Hydraulic Supply Company (HSC) a division of Motion Industries is seeking a Build Shop Technician in West Palm Beach Florida to work in our Build Shop facility assembling hydraulic and electric assemblies for our customers. This is an opportunity for a motivated and talented candidate to grow with a great team and a very successful company.

JOB DUTIES:

• Build hydraulic and electrical customer assemblies

• Operate Hydraulic Test Stand for functional tests as required

• Receive and put away inventory

• Prepare orders for shipment (packing palletizing etc.)

• Interact with computer system to generate inventory pick lists process orders shipping and manage upcoming orders

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES:

• Mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

• Attention to detail

• Fluid power experience a plus

• Work consists of standing at a workbench most of the day

• Familiarity with common office software applications (Outlook Word etc.)

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills as required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires manual dexterity arm-hand steadiness and multi-limb coordination. Ability to handle material up to 50 pounds.
