The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the organization ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a positive work environment. The HR Manager manages HR teams leads strategic HR initiatives and partners with leadership to address organizational challenges.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR department including supervising HR staff and providing ongoing guidance and training.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and drive organizational performance.
- Oversee recruitment retention and employee engagement strategies to ensure talent acquisition aligns with organizational needs.
- Manage the performance management process including performance evaluations coaching and feedback mechanisms.
- Provide counsel to senior leadership on HR-related issues including organizational development conflict resolution and labor relations.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations and stay informed of changes.
- Conduct employee relations activities including resolving complex employee complaints and disputes.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
- Oversee HR metrics and reporting ensuring that data supports strategic decision-making and business planning.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in HR with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices labor laws and employee relations strategies.
- Proven ability to drive change and manage complex HR projects.
- Excellent leadership communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
