Human Resources Manager Lathrop CA

Position Overview

The Human Resources Manager serves as the primary HR leader for a high-volume 24/7 food and beverage manufacturing facility. This role partners with plant and corporate leadership to manage employee relations compliance recruiting performance management and talent development while supporting a safe productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the site expert onCalifornia and federal employment law including wage/hour FEHA CFRA PDL PAGA and leave requirements.
• Lead coach and develop the HR Generalist team.
• Manage complex employee relations matters investigations corrective actions and performance management.
• Partner with legal counsel on employment claims and workplace issues.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions.
• Identify compliance risks and implement policies training and process improvements.
• Support leaves of absence and reasonable accommodation processes.
• Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning and organizational needs.
• Use HR metrics and HRIS data to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and employee documentation; Paylocity experience preferred.
• Support training programs and ensure compliance with GMP GFSI and safety requirements.
• Provide HR support across a24/7 manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in HR Business or related field.
• 5 years of progressive HR leadership experienceand3 years managing an HR team.
• Strong expertise inCalifornia labor and employment law is required.
• Experience handling complex employee relations and investigations.
• Manufacturing food/beverage or regulated production experience preferred.
• Strong HRIS experience; Paylocity preferred.
• Excellent communication judgment confidentiality and leadership skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• PHR SPHR SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
