HR Generalist

Job Summary
- Manage employee relations for assigned business group.
- Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies benefits hiring processes etc.
- Partner with managers in the performance review processes.
- Support the onboarding process for assigned business group to ensure a smooth and effective transition for new hires.
- Assist in responding to audits employment verifications surveys etc.
- Support the offboarding process for assigned business group.
- Support immigration/compliance matters.
- Oversee employee personnel files perform periodic audits of files and records to ensure all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Manage labor law poster program including vendor management and posting compliance.
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Support payroll processing as needed.
- Provide back-up support to team members as needed.
- Assist with HR special projects.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field with 5 years of HR experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Demonstrated experience with HRIS systems (Workday Jobvite ADP preferred).
- Process improvement & project management experience.
- Prior experience in a global matrix structure a plus.
- Ability to work independently on assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication ability.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to follow up on matters quickly.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook).
Additional Details:
- Location: Waukesha WI
- Work model: Typically onsite 5 days per week (Monday through Friday). First Shift
