The role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist at our Leominster MA manufacturing facility to support the day-to-day execution of human resources initiatives while helping foster a culture of performance accountability engagement and growth. This role serves as a trusted partner to employees and managers providing guidance across a broad range of HR functions including recruitment employee relations performance management compliance employee engagement and HR administration.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment enjoys building strong relationships and is passionate about supporting both people and business objectives.

Candidate must be available to be onsite 5 days per week and have schedule flexibility for meetings investigations etc due to the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers providing guidance on workplace matters employee relations and conflict resolution.

• Support positive employee engagement initiatives and help promote a productive and inclusive work environment.

• Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities for hourly/non-salaried positions including candidate screening interviews pre-employment processes and onboarding.

• Ensure consistent application of HR policies procedures and practices in alignment with company values business objectives and legal requirements.

• Partner with managers to support performance management processes employee development coaching and feedback discussions.

• Maintain compliance with applicable labor laws employment regulations and HR best practices.

• Manage employee records HR documentation and HRIS data with a high degree of accuracy confidentiality and integrity.

• Collaborate with operations leadership to support workplace safety initiatives and return-to-work programs.

• Prepare analyze and report on key HR metrics and KPIs to support business decision-making.

• Participate in divisional and corporate HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

• Organize and support employee wellness engagement recognition and community involvement activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must have 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role.

• Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred!

• Strong knowledge of employment legislation labor relations and HR best practices.

• Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Demonstrated experience in:

  • Recruitment and onboarding

  • Employee relations and conflict resolution

  • Performance management

  • Benefits and compensation administration

  • HR policy implementation and administration

  • Employment law compliance

  • Training and development coordination

• Experience supporting manufacturing industrial multi-site or fast-paced operational environments is an asset.

• Diploma (HND) or degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related field preferred.

• Professional HR certification (CIPD SHRM PHR or equivalent) is highly desirable.
