Job Summary:
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations at a unionized and non-unionized manufacturing facility ensuring compliance with employment laws HR policies and collective bargaining agreements (CBA) where applicable. This role serves as a trusted HR partner to employees and supervisors assisting with recruitment employee relations benefits administration performance management and HR compliance. This role will serve as Generalist for both locations Elkhart and North Liberty.

Required Education/Experience:

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of HR policies labor laws (FMLA OSHA FLSA ADA NLRA) and union contracts if applicable.
- Experience with HRIS payroll systems (e.g. SuccessFactors UKG UltiPro) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret CBAs and assist in labor relations efforts if applicable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to resolve workplace conflicts.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment managing multiple priorities.
