We are seeking a motivated hands-on HR Generalist who is fluent in both English and Spanish to support a fast-paced team-oriented workplace. This role is ideal for a proactive HR professional who enjoys working closely with employees and supervisors has strong knowledge of California labor laws and can support a diverse hourly workforce.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary HR contact for employees supervisors and leadership.
- Provide bilingual HR support in English and Spanish for employees across the organization.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes including new hire orientation.
- Support recruitment efforts including sourcing screening interviewing and onboarding candidates.
- Assist with employee relations matters conflict resolution investigations and corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with California labor laws wage and hour regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records personnel files and HRIS data.
- Support benefits administration open enrollment and employee benefit questions.
- Assist with payroll-related documentation and compliance.
- Translate HR communications policies and employee documents as needed.
- Partner with leadership to support performance management and employee engagement.
- Coordinate training programs including harassment prevention workplace safety and compliance training.
- Maintain a visible approachable and trusted HR presence with employees.
- Track HR metrics such as turnover retention attendance and compliance items.
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- 2-5 years of HR experience preferred.
- Experience supporting hourly non-exempt manufacturing warehouse industrial or production employees strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of California employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience with employee relations workplace investigations onboarding and HR administration.
- Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems such as ADP Paychex Workday or similar platforms.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field preferred; equivalent HR experience will be considered.
- SHRM-CP PHR or other HR certification is a plus.
