PTS Advance is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support HR operations for a busy manufacturing facility in Anderson SC. This role will assist with recruiting onboarding employee records management reporting and general HR administration. The ideal candidate will be organized detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting both hourly and salaried employees.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruiting and onboarding activities including interview scheduling candidate communication background checks drug screens and new hire orientation.
- Maintain employee personnel files and ensure HR records are accurate and up to date.
- Process employee status changes including transfers pay changes promotions and terminations.
- Support internal job posting processes employee referral programs and temporary workforce administration.
- Enter and maintain employee information within HR systems and generate routine workforce reports.
- Track attendance turnover and other employee-related metrics.
- Respond to employee questions regarding company policies procedures and benefits.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives recognition programs and company-sponsored events.
- Support invoice processing budget tracking and other administrative functions as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to HR leadership and plant management teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Human Resources recruiting or administrative support experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing industrial or distribution environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
Education
- Associate degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or a related discipline is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
