We are amidst a substantial expansion spanning Canada the US and beyond into the global market. To fortify this growth we are in search of a proficient HR Business Partner - US Operations.This role will be responsible for various HR activities to support people and culture development at Activate Games across Store Operations across the US. The incumbent in this role will have key responsibilities in employee relations performance management recruitment and selection policy implementation training and development and special projects as required.

Essential Job Functions

Performance and Employee Development

• Provideadvice and guidance to StoreOperationsLeadersfor all areas of HR including employee relations employee development policy compliance recruitment and training

• Act as a cultural champion to promote an agile performance driven environment where all team members are encouraged to pursue and realize their full potential

• Lead and resolve workplace investigations as required while adhering to company standards and complying with applicable laws and regulations

• Work closely with employees and management to coordinatetheworkplaceclaims process

• Support Health & Safety initiatives recommend and implement disability management practicesaccessibilityand the accommodationprocesses

• Coach and developtheOperations teamonperformance expectations action plans for development career growth and learning opportunities

Policy Administration

• Ensure policy compliancewithinUSregionsActivateoperatesby reviewing and adapting policies and delivering policycoaching and/ortraining

• Assistin developmentand implementation of HR policies programs and initiatives

• Update current policies and procedures on a regular basis based on given information

• Aid in creating and implementing a long-term Human Resource vision strategy and tactics in alignment with organizational objectives

• Utilize datatoidentifytrends and diagnose organizationaleffectiveness issues

Talent Acquisition

• Partner with hiring leads to support andfacilitatetalent sourcing and acquisition including creating job descriptions postingavailable positions interviewing and onboarding

• Provide guidance andsupport to collaborators to enable successful hiringand selectionof staff for Activatestorelocations

• Track efficiencies of the hiring process; measure success of candidate hiring process

• Use HRIS system to effectively manage the hiring process and candidate pool

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or related field

• 5 years of related HR work experience

• Excellentverbal and written communication skills

• In depth experience with multiple states employment requirements including California employment

• Proven ability to conduct thorough workplace investigations

• Demonstratedexpertisein developing and managing relationships

• Quick learner creativeself-motivatedand detail-oriented

• Strong ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities

• Experienceadapting tonew technologies with hands-on experience across HRIS systems Microsoft Office and SharePoint

• Highly motivated with the ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
