The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders aligning HR strategies programs and initiatives with organizational goals and operational priorities. This role drives organizational effectiveness operational excellence and employee engagement through data-driven insights workforce planning and consistent application of HR practices. This role partners with leadership to deliver integrated solutions across the employee lifecycle lead change initiatives and maintain a positive employee experience.

Essential Job Functions: Included but not limited to the following:

  • Partner with business leaders to align workforce strategies with business objectives and strengthen employee engagement retention and organizational culture across multiple facilities.
  • Provide strategic HR support to multiple business functions at the corporate office including Sales Finance IT and related business areas.
  • Analyze HR data trends and metrics (e.g. turnover absenteeism engagement) to generate insights and recommend program process and enhancements.
  • Lead organizational design workforce planning and change management initiatives related to performance management compliance and employee relations.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters conduct thorough and objective investigations and facilitate equitable and effective resolutions.
  • Recommend enhancements to Human Resources and Corporate policies and lead implementation of approved changes.
  • Lead the development and implementation of employee engagement strategies and action plans by analyzing engagement data and workforce feedback.
  • Serve as a focal point for company efforts in HR/ER process administration ensuring compliance with federal state and local employment laws mitigating legal and regulatory risk.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance management practices communication and leadership development.
  • Identify organizational and workforce skill gaps and implement targeted development and training solutions.
  • Enhance and support key talent processes to maximize retention including recruiting performance management and succession planning.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of HRIS transactions and maintain employee data integrity.
  • Collaborate with field HR Business Partners centers of excellence and shared services (e.g. Talent Management Total Rewards HRIS) to deliver integrated streamlined and scalable HR solutions.
  • Contribute to the optimization of HR systems and tools.
  • Provide guidance to employees on HR programs and policies ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of employment laws and labor regulations to ensure compliance and reduce risk.
  • Partner with Legal on complex or high-risk employment matters as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related field.
  • 710 years of progressive HR experience including significant employee relations experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence leaders and operate in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using HR metrics to inform decisions.
  • Experience leading change initiatives and driving HR transformation.
  • May require up to 10% travel based on business needs.

Preferred:

  • Previous labor relations experience in a unionized environment.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g. PHR SPHR SHRM-CP SHRM-SCP).
