HR Benefits Coordinator

Join our team at Darlings Auto Group as we seek to add an HR Benefits Coordinator to our Human Resources department to assist in providing support to our 650 employees.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Conduct new hire onboarding background checks and employee eligibility verifications

- Process benefit enrollments IRS qualifying life events and COBRA

- Weekly payroll processing

-Reconcile monthly billings from insurance providers

-Process monthly billings from insurance providers

- Process and administer leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork including PFML FMLA STD and LTD

-Workers Comp reporting and compliance

-OSHA reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all employees

-Working knowledge of employee benefits including health insurance retirement plans and leave policies

-Ability to explain common benefit concepts to employees

- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail in managing employee payroll and benefits information

-Maintain confidentiality handle sensitive and personal information with sound judgment tact and discretion

-Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel

- Experience with UKG Ready HRIS and payroll software is a plus!
