Description
Seeking a HRIS professional with deep working knowledge of PeopleSoft and /or Workday. The HR Analyst supports operational business partners in developing implementing maintaining and improving system configurations and processes. This role builds working knowledge across functional areas of the HR domain and partners with team members to understand technical capabilities ongoing business processes and desired changes. The HR Analyst streamlines processes by surfacing relevant insights and analyzing data against key HR metrics applying technical knowledge to solve problems and drive continual process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process & Project Support
- Assist with business processes within the HR domain
- Align business processes to enhance key performance metrics in service to Emorys long- and short-term business strategy and functional-area challenges
- Understand key business processes from the end-user perspective
- Assist with the creation or revision of functional requirements for business processes
- Partner with the Digital team to ensure functional requirements are successfully translated into technical solutions
- Collaborate with the work group to test scenarios
- Work closely with the project team to track issues through resolution
- Participate in training solutions and support user adoption
Data & HRIS Management
- Compile HR data and metrics from the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and payroll outputs
- Support projects and break/fix solutions through the full system development lifecycle (SDLC) process.
- Maintain and troubleshoot integrations
- Integrate data from multiple sources or functional areas ensuring accuracy and integrity and update data as needed
- Maintain HR data integrity by ensuring accuracy and consistency of input data; audit HR data troubleshoot irregularities and support data governance processes
- Develop and maintain a data glossary
- Address a high volume of system-related activities in a timely manner while maintaining quality and internal customer satisfaction
Required Skills & Abilities

- Capacity to apply discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Experience identifying operational issues and recommending/implementing solutions
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of SQL
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors or masters degree in Human Resources Business Administration I/O Psychology Information Technology or a related field (equivalent HRIS experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- 2 years of relevant HRIS experience
- Previous experience supporting system-related projects
- No professional certifications required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Physical Requirements
Medium (max 25 lbs): Lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally (033% of the workday); 1125 lbs frequently (3466%); 110 lbs constantly (67100%). Carrying objects up to 25 lbs. Occasional to frequent standing and walking; occasional sitting; close eye work (computer use typing reading writing). Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and tasks.
Environmental Factors
Conditions may vary by assigned work area and tasks. Potential exposures include but are not limited to: blood-borne pathogens bio-hazardous waste chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors communicable diseases electrical shock floor surfaces hot/cold temperatures indoor/outdoor conditions latex lighting patient care/handling injuries radiation and shift work. Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment including respirators may be required.
