Job Summary

Job Summary:

The HR Administrator/Generalist plays a key role in supporting daily human resources operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining employee records supporting recruitment and onboarding efforts administering HR processes and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensures compliance with federal Illinois state and local employment laws and regulations. 
  • Conduct Investigations and provide recommendations on employee relations issues. 
  • Support full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles. 
  • Actively participate in business meetings and assist with the resolution of business challenges.
  • Supports audits reporting and recordkeeping (e.g. OSHA logs EEO reporting I-9 compliance).
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems.
  • Support workforce development initiatives and succession planning.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  •  
  • Ensure HR data integrity and perform random audits for compliance.
  • Direct and administer disciplinary actions and disciplinary meetings for plant location.
  • Coordinate and monitor performance management program for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures

 


Qualifications :

Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelors degree in human resources or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in human resources.
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication clerical and organizational skills.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to compose letters memos and other correspondence.
  • Excellent computer skills with various PC-based software packages.
  • Must be lilingual in Spanish and English
