Job Summary
Job Title: HR Generalist / HR Administrator
Position Summary
The HR Generalist / HR Administrator supports day-to-day HR operations and plays a key role in maintaining a positive employee experience. This role handles a wide range of HR functions including onboarding employee relations benefits administration compliance and HR systems management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
- Process new hires terminations and employee status changes
- Support payroll coordination and ensure timely submission of data
- Prepare HR reports and maintain documentation in compliance with regulations
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate job postings candidate screening and interview scheduling
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new employees
- Partner with hiring managers to support staffing needs
Employee Relations
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries
- Assist in resolving workplace issues and escalating when necessary
- Support performance management processes and documentation
Benefits & Compliance
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist with open enrollment
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws
- Maintain I-9 EEO and other compliance records
Training & Development
- Coordinate training sessions and track employee participation
- Support internal communications and engagement initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
- 25 years of HR experience (generalist or administrative)
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing or technology environment
- HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP PHR)
- Familiarity with payroll systems and compliance reporting

Pay Range- $25.00- $35.00
