HR & Administrative Assistant South Bend IN


This opening with our client is designed as a flexible office support role combining HR assistance Accounts Payable support and general administrative duties within a smaller office environment. The company is seeking someone professional organized dependable and comfortable wearing multiple hats while supporting day-to-day office operations.


The ideal schedule for this position would be part-time with Mondays being especially important and flexibility on the remaining days and hours. However for the right candidate the company may be open to creating a full-time opportunity.


Job Duties:
Assisting with recruiting onboarding and new hire processes
Managing employee files and new hire paperwork
Coordinating interviews and communication with candidates
Providing general HR administrative support and employee follow-up
Assisting with policy procedure and compliance documentation
Managing employee time clock entries and attendance tracking
Reviewing and reporting employee hours to ADP for payroll processing
Supporting Accounts Payable functions
Performing data entry filing and general office tasks
Assisting with administrative projects and helping where needed throughout the office

Requirements:
Previous office and administrative experience required
Prior HR support experience preferred
Accounts Payable or payroll exposure is a plus
Familiarity with ADP or payroll processes helpful
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Professional communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
