Job Summary

SHIFT M-F flexible hours some evenings Some occasional SaturdaysEDUCATION / required. Previous experience in Recruiting. Non-profit experience a plus. Experience in HRIS computer software Word Excel Publisher and other related programs. SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONSAbility to interact professionally with others and with a high level of confidentialityAbility to maintain appropriate relationships with people with disabilities and at-risk adolescents utilizing normalization principlesAbility to interact effectively with all levels of CAU staff members families and within the communityAbility to express oneself both in writing and verbally in a comprehensive manner using the English languageGood planning and organization skillsWorking knowledge of computer software programs including Microsoft Office productsAbility to be resourceful and work independentlyAbility to perform basic mathematical functionsAbility to problem-solveAbility to deliver effective presentationsAbility to deliver effective training programsAbility to maintain and analyze budgets and interpret and analyze financial reportsDemonstrate responsible leadership mentoring and role-modelingAccess to an automobile vehicle valid drivers license and safe driving record requiredGENERAL DESCRIPTION The overall responsibility of the Recruiter is posting jobs screen resumes advertise openings register and attend college & community job fairs maintain applicant tracking system This will be done through telephone interaction personal interaction meetings maintaining records and resources including typing and data entry mailing and TASKS Screen resumes received for appropriateness for Agency positionsAssist with internal and external recruitment efforts with goals of filling vacancies within a timely mannerAttend Career fairs in the community and colleges/universitiesMaintain various applicant tracking systemsResponsible for job postings; internal postings newspaper and local community advertisingReview job requisitions source candidates and schedule interviewsAssist with on-site interviews for recruitmentParticipate in interviewing candidates as necessaryRecommend and implement proactive approaches to enhance recruitment processMaintain high level of confidentialityActively participates in Agency fund-raising efforts committees staff meetings and in staff supervisionCooperate with any Agency DDD and DCP&P investigation and inspectionEnsures compliance with all required state and federally mandated background and exclusion checks including but not limited to criminal history background investigation (fingerprinting) Central Registry Child Abuse Record Information (CARI) drug testing and motor vehicle checks. Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State Federal and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/ other duties as assigned
