Job Summary
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas Teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject/level assigned
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Must have knowledge of subject assigned
- Must have general knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
EXPERIENCE:
- Prefer at least 1 year of student teaching or approved internship.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
- Create a foundation for success in middle school high school and future studies
- Career focus such as Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics; Business and Industry; Public Service; Arts and Humanities; and Multidisciplinary Studies.
- Introduces students to technology keyboarding engineering and math through engaging hands-on activities.
- Students build essential computer skills by practicing keyboarding exploring technology tools and digital literacy and developing problem-solving abilities through engineering challenges.
- Math concepts are reinforced through real-world applications helping students strengthen critical thinking creativity and collaboration skills while preparing for future learning and careers.
- Instruction provides content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills to further their education and succeed in current or emerging professions.
