With a staff of 950 and an annual budget of $140 million Project Renewal is one of the larger social service nonprofits in New York : Front Desk Attendant Location: Multiple opportunities are available in the Bronx Brooklyn and Manhattan at PRI Housing ProgramsSalary: $20.079/hourOverall Responsibilities: The Front Desk Attendant is primarily responsible for ensuring safety and security in the building and for engaging in various other activities to support the wellness of residents. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties of Front Desk Attendance include but are not limited to the following activities: Monitors and secures entrance to the building including documenting building entrances/exits and other relevant events Answers and directs telephone calls Receives mail and other deliveries Assists in documentation and response to fire drills and other alarms Communicates regularly with clinical and on-call staff regarding medication resident and building issues Provides facility coverage in instances of unplanned absences Assists with medication monitoring as needed Other duties as assigned by Program Director and Front Desk Supervisor Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience working with individuals with mental health diagnosis preferredProject Renewal is an equal opportunity employer.
