Responsibilities
As a Houseperson you will be an integral part of our dedicated Housekeeping team working collaboratively to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Your primary focus will be on maintaining the cleanliness and order of our guest rooms public areas and facilities ensuring that our high standards are consistently met. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests contributing to their overall satisfaction and the success of our resort.
- Clean and service guest rooms ensuring a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Restock and replenish guest rooms with amenities supplies and linen as needed.
- Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues and report them to the appropriate department.
- Assist in deep cleaning and special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests addressing their needs and inquiries promptly.
- Work collaboratively with other Housekeeping team members to ensure efficient room turnover.
- Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling practices are followed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude representing the Hilton brand with pride.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping equipment and supplies.
- Willingness to undergo training and development opportunities.
- A positive and guest-centric attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Compliance with the Local 1 Unite Here Collective Bargaining Agreement.
