Position: Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper
Schedule: MondayFriday 9AM - 5 PM or 8AM - 4PM

A warm and welcoming private family located in in Washington D.C. is looking to hire a dedicated and professional Housekeeper to join their household. They value discretion reliability and someone who will be a long-term fit.

Children: Two children

Home Size: 10000 sq. ft. primary residence plus two 2500 sq. ft. guest houses

Pets: One friendly dog

Household Staff: Executive Housekeeper and a live-in Domestic Couple currently employed

This is a wonderful long-term opportunity. The familys current Housekeeper has been with them for over 10 years and is preparing for retirement. The family is seeking a professional who will become a valued and lasting member of their household team.

• Perform detailed housekeeping throughout the main residence and guest houses
• Maintain the cleanliness organization and presentation of all living spaces
• Laundry ironing steaming and wardrobe care
• Change bed linens and maintain guest accommodations
• Care for fine furnishings surfaces and household items
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and seasonal household maintenance
• Monitor household supplies and communicate inventory needs
• Work collaboratively with the Executive Housekeeper and Domestic Couple
• Ensure the home remains guest-ready and maintained to the highest standards
• Assist with occasional pet-related tasks as needed

The ideal candidate is proactive trustworthy and confident in their skills. They should have exceptional attention to detail a strong work ethic and take pride in maintaining a beautifully organized home. A positive attitude flexibility and the ability to work well as part of a household team are essential. • Prior experience as a Housekeeper in a private household
• Experience working in a large fully staffed residence preferred
• Excellent references
• Legal to work in the United States
• Drivers license and clean driving record preferred
• Comfortable working around children and pets
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
