Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the apartment community including common areas management offices amenities and vacant units. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe sanitary and welcoming environment for residents guests and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize common areas including hallways lobbies restrooms laundry rooms fitness centers and community spaces.
• Prepare vacant apartment units for new residents by thoroughly cleaning kitchens bathrooms flooring appliances and fixtures.
• Perform routine cleaning duties such as dusting vacuuming sweeping mopping polishing and trash removal.
• Restock restroom and supply areas as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report repair or replacement needs to management.
• Identify and promptly report safety concerns maintenance issues and property damage.
• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and safety standards.
• Assist with special projects and seasonal cleaning as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping janitorial or custodial experience preferred particularly in residential or commercial settings.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties bending standing and climbing stairs.
• Reliable punctual and professional demeanor.

Work Environment

• Work performed in both indoor and outdoor settings within an apartment community.
• Regular exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
