Housekeeping Workers

HJ Staffing is seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Workers to join our team and help maintain high standards of cleanliness safety and order for our client facilities.

• Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• Days: Monday through Friday (with some weekends required)

As a Housekeeping Worker you will perform a variety of duties to ensure our client facilities remain sanitary safe and welcoming. Your daily tasks will include:

• Performing combinations of cleaning duties to maintain order sanitation and overall cleanliness across assigned areas.
• Cleaning dusting and straightening up designated facility spaces.
• Collecting sorting laundering transporting and distributing linens and uniforms.
• Monitoring and maintaining housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Operating basic hand tools and cleaning equipment safely.
• Strictly observing required safety precautions especially when disposing of contaminated refuse.

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience.
• Skills: Basic knowledge of housekeeping practices handling cleaning chemicals and operating standard cleaning equipment.
• Physical Demands: Must be physically able to lift between 2550 pounds as well as squat stoop or bend continuously as required for deep cleaning.
• Legal/Background Requirement: State law requires a National and State Background Check as a condition of employment for this role.

• DBHDD Background Check / Fingerprinting: $60.00
• Drug Screening: $35.00
• TB (Tuberculosis) Testing: Must be completed through your own healthcare provider.
