Housekeeping Supervisor
Rate:$30 - $32/hour $3 shift differential (depending on experience)
Shift:Part-Time
Schedule:3:00 pm - 11:00 pm every other weekend

Northgate Health Care Facility is looking to add a Housekeeping Supervisor to its this role youll oversee the daily housekeeping and laundry operations that help create a clean safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff and ensure adequate departmental coverage
• Oversee the collection laundering distribution and safeguarding of resident linens and personal belongings
• Ensure resident rooms common areas and facility grounds are clean safe and well-maintained
• Coordinate housekeeping and laundry services with other departments to support resident care
• Develop daily short-range and long-range plans for housekeeping and laundry operations
• Assign duties evaluate staff performance and assist with training and orientation of team members
• Manage department inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment
• Maintain compliance with resident rights safety standards infection control practices and facility policies

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree in Environmental Services preferred
• Minimum experience requirement: 1 year working in a housekeeping or laundry position; 1 year of supervisory experience in a service industry preferred
• Strong leadership organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with residents families and interdisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of housekeeping laundry safety and infection control practices
• Ability to identify and address operational and safety concerns
• Commitment to maintaining a clean safe and resident-centered environment
