Housekeeping-Laudry Aide

Are you meticulous reliable and seeking a role where your work directly brings comfort and dignity to others At Renaissance our Housekeeper/Laundry Aides are essential in creating a comfortable homelike environment for our residents. You are the vital link that ensures our residents living spaces and personal items are clean fresh and cared for daily.

This role is critical to maintaining high standards of hygiene and comfort throughout our community.

Linens: Collect sort wash dry fold and distribute all resident clothing linens and towels with the utmost care and attention.

Hygiene & Safety: Strictly follow proper procedures for handling soiled laundry to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the highest standards of infection control.

Environmental Upkeep: Assist with general housekeeping tasks maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the laundry room and other common areas as needed.

Organization: Ensure all resident clothing is appropriately labeled to prevent mix-ups and maintain an organized workspace.

Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain commercial washers dryers and all laundry room equipment.

Reliability: Punctuality and consistent attendance at scheduled shifts are mandatory.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous sorting and folding skills with an eye for maintaining pristine conditions.

Compassion: Ability to work respectfully and effectively with diverse populations including those with memory loss or physical impairments.

Safety Minded: Knowledge of safe practices in handling chemicals and commitment to following all facility safety protocols.

Physical Ability: Must be able to frequently lift or move objects up to 35 lbs. unassisted and perform regular standing walking bending and kneeling.

Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background check and drug testing. Prior housekeeping or healthcare experience is preferred.
