The Marriott Phoenix Chandler located in Chandler- a Southeast suburb of Phoenix is the newest Full Service Marriott in the state of Arizona! Featuring 264 Guest Rooms and over 21000 sq ft of event space this hotel has the largest Ballroom in Chandler AZ! The Marriott Phoenix Chandler Hotel is seeking a detail-oriented motivated and service-focused Housekeeping Inspector to support the Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Housekeeping Manager in leading our housekeeping team. This role is essential in ensuring our guest rooms and public spaces consistently meet Marriott brand standards and provide an exceptional experience for every guest.

As a Housekeeping Inspector you will:

• Inspect guest rooms (vacant occupied and check-out rooms) to ensure cleanliness presentation and adherence to Marriott brand standards.
• Ensure guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces consistently meet the hotels quality and cleanliness expectations.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns promptly to the Engineering team and follow up as needed.
• Respond to and assist with special guest requests including extra towels pillows blankets and other amenities.
• Provide coaching guidance and support to Room Attendants and House Attendants to promote continuous improvement and maintain high-performance standards.
• Assist team members by ensuring they have the supplies equipment and resources needed to perform their duties efficiently.
• Partner with the housekeeping leadership team to ensure rooms are guest-ready and operational goals are achieved.
• Assist with room cleaning and other housekeeping duties when business demands require.
• Promote a positive safe and team-oriented work environment while delivering outstanding guest service.

What are we looking for

• At least six months of housekeeping inspection in a hotel of similar size and quality.
• Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) preferred.
• Working knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures quality standards safety practices and security policies.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify cleanliness and maintenance concerns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach motivate and lead team members.
• Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with guests and fellow associates.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes mornings evenings weekends and holidays.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to bend stoop kneel reach and climb stairs as needed.
• Ability to lift carry push or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to move throughout all areas of the hotel while performing room inspections.
