Housekeeping Inspector (FT Year Round)

Job SummaryThis position will be responsible for inspecting the work of housekeepers prior to guest check-ins conducting inventories and assisting the housekeeping department with any additional projects for the betterment of the Duties and ResponsibilitiesMust be an ambassador of their resources and committed to the cleanliness of the ensure that all details of the guest rooms are held to 4 Diamond standards including but not limited to linen towels carpet tile walls glass appliances and be able to work in a high pace environment without compromising attention to be able to effectively and efficiently coordinate daily housekeeping have ability to work with housekeepers and effectively communicate the need for training opportunities to improve be able to interact with all resort staff members to insure channels of communication are maintained between grooming appearance and uniform as specified by department and company be able to walk/stand for extended periods of show desire to constantly improve department and resort in be punctual and have excellent offer impeccable guest be able to assist guests with any challenges to create a positive and memorable be knowledgeable of all in house events and resort activities so that the housekeeping department can be informed and as a leader and role model for all Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa all safety hazards and suspicious activity to office/ and understand all safety procedures and expectations as well as know their role in any emergency to strict department and resort attendance all required SpecificationsCompetencies:Minimum 2 years of prior housekeeping experience strongly preferred. Knowledge in property management system SMS is proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook is preferred to assist in the office if ability to work well with a team as well as work individually without constant to multi-task in a very high paced to read speak understand and write clearly to document be flexible with changes in work to work a flexible schedule as well as weekends and to remain calm and professional at all to work under varying weather to make quick decisions and possess good :High school diploma GED or equivalent work experience required.2 years in the hospitality industry/ housekeeping field & Other Requirements:Must be able to bend squat climb lift up to 30 lbs push and to walk for the duration of ones work shift up to 8 hours in a and safe driving record.A Criminal Background Check is required for this position.
