Housekeeping Aide

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our skilled nursing team. If you take pride in creating a clean comfortable environment and enjoy making a difference in the lives of others this is the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Housekeeping Aide youll play a vital role in maintaining a sanitary safe and inviting facility for residents families and staff. Your work helps ensure our center feels like home.

What Youll Do

  • Maintain a clean orderly and sanitary environment throughout the facility
  • Clean resident rooms restrooms offices lounges hallways therapy areas and common spaces
  • Perform emergency cleaning as needed
  • Dust disinfect and polish surfaces fixtures furniture and equipment
  • Sweep mop disinfect and maintain floors; assist with carpet cleaning and floor care
  • Replace light bulbs clean vents remove lint from dryers and support basic maintenance tasks
  • Keep outdoor areas tidy including entrances patios and walkways
  • Replenish soap towels and other supplies
  • Assist with room readiness for new admissions and discharges
  • Follow infection-prevention procedures including cleaning isolation rooms
  • Ensure equipment tools and supplies are properly stored and maintained
  • Respond to environmental service requests from residents and staff with professionalism and courtesy

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience (healthcare experience a plus)
  • Ability to lift bend and perform physical tasks safely
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
