• Perform specialized cleaning of ORs between cases and at end-of-day ensuring compliance with department standards and AORN guidelines.
• Handle and dispose of soiled linen trash and biohazard materials appropriately following infection control and safety protocols.
• Clean hazardous spills including blood or bodily fluids using trained procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Deliver biohazard trash pharmaceutical waste and sharps containers to storage areas labeling and preparing them for pickup in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain and clean EVS equipment carts and closets ensuring they are stocked and functional and report repair needs to maintenance or biomed.
• Execute wet mopping and machine scrubbing in surgical areas (OR Cath Lab CTU Endo) maintaining sterile environments for patient safety.

Experience:

• Any relevant experience in a housekeeping related position is preferred.
