Job Summary
The Hotel Housekeeper / Guest Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean comfortable and welcoming guest rooms and public areas while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position plays a vital role in creating a positive guest experience by providing exceptional housekeeping services in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
Clean and service guest rooms bathrooms and assigned hotel areas according to established standards.
Change bed linens make beds and replace towels and guest amenities.
Dust vacuum sweep mop and sanitize guest rooms and common areas.
Empty trash containers and remove used linens.
Inspect rooms for cleanliness maintenance needs and safety concerns.
Report maintenance issues damaged items and lost-and-found property to supervisors.
Restock housekeeping carts with supplies and linens.
Ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests within required timeframes.
Follow hotel safety sanitation and security procedures.
Provide courteous and professional service to guests and respond to requests promptly.
Work collaboratively with other housekeeping and hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending reaching standing and walking for extended periods.
Dependable punctual and customer-service oriented.
Full-time and Part-time positions available.
Must be available to work weekends holidays and flexible shifts as needed.
