Job Summary
Founded in 1940 Dignity Health - Marian Regional Medical Center is a 191-bed acute care nonprofit hospital located in Santa Maria California. Serving over 250000 patients annually the hospital offers a full complement of services including Level II Trauma Center Level III NICU cancer care orthopedics and stroke care. Additionally Marian Regional Medical Center has been recognized as an LGBTQ Healthcare Equality High Performer by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. It is a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center and the only healthcare facility on the Central Coast to offer ECMO.
As our House Supervisor you will be a central orchestrator of care empowering our frontline nursing teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences and drive operational excellence.
Every day you will actively engage with patient care needs guide and support your nursing teams growth and champion departmental objectives. Youll fiercely advocate for your fellow nurses fostering an environment where every individual reaches their full potential.

Your exceptional communication will shine in 1:1 interactions with physicians consultants and family advocates as you skillfully navigate challenging conversations to ensure optimal performance and patient outcomes.
Organizes and oversees patient care delivery during an assigned shift.
Monitors and assesses current environment for smooth hospital operations.
Assesses and allocates resources as needed.
Provides input to employee performance. Assists in the coaching of staff members.
Documents daily staffing and administrative records and maintains compliance with governmental policies and procedures. Presents documentation to senior staff.
Provides nursing care to patients on an as needed basis. Maintains communication to patient and family members regarding care needed.
- Associates of Nursing
- Minimum of three (3) years acute experience as a Registered nurse within the last six (6) years
- Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience
- Registered Nurse: Current CA RN License
- Basic Life Support - CPR BLS
