House person

The Residence Inn near Universal is currently seeking a dynamic experienced and motivated individual for the position of Houseperson at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. This candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational & communication skills a strong proficiency in multi-tasking. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

1. Main Responsibilities

Collect soiled linens for laundering from housekeepers carts and linen closets

Vacuum floors clean bathrooms and common areas.

Run linen to housekeepers as needed.

Deliver baby cribs pillows extra towels and miscellaneous guest requests to guest rooms.

Remove trash and debris from guest rooms and common areas where trash recepticles are located.

Restock shelves with paper supplies and restock room cleaner caddies daily.

Put away all incoming supplies and deliveries

2. Additional Support

Must have knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests associates and vendors.

Ability to accurately report information.

Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.

Attend required meetings.

Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.

Pushing bending stooping upward reaching manual dexterity.

Hearing writing typing.

Minimum pulling of 20 pounds.

Other duties may be assigned.

Additional responsibilities specific to you are:

Must have knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.

Must have good mathematical and computer skills.

High school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required.

Additional language ability preferred.
