The Nursing Administration Department provides leadership oversight and strategic direction for nursing services throughout the organization. Nursing Administration is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe high-quality patient-centered care while supporting nursing staff promoting professional development and maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

The House Patient Care Coordinator oversees hospital operations while supporting safe efficient and high-quality patient care. This role serves as a clinical nursing resource coordinates staffing and patient flow addresses safety and operational concerns and supports admissions transfers and discharges. More than 50% of the role is dedicated to coordinating and supporting direct patient care activities.

Description:

• Provides hospital-wide clinical and administrative support during assigned shifts.

• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and supports quality patient care.

• Coordinates staffing patient flow bed utilization admissions transfers and discharges.

• Provides leadership during codes emergencies and other critical situations.

• Addresses patient family staff and physician concerns as appropriate.

• Identifies safety and risk concerns and communicates issues requiring follow-up.

• Coaches and supports staff while promoting compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) .

• Minimum of three years of job-related experience .

• Active RN license with the Kentucky Board of Nursing .

• Required certifications/training include BLS PALS ACLS NIHSS 12-Lead ECG Nurse Wound Care Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia and Avade Training within designated post-hire timeframes.

• Clinical management experience preferred.
