Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate dependable and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our nursing home team immediately! In this important role you will help maintain a clean safe and comfortable environment for our residents visitors and staff. Your dedication to cleanliness and infection control plays a vital role in supporting the health dignity and well-being of our elderly residents.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms bathrooms hallways dining areas and common spaces

• Sweep mop vacuum dust and sanitize assigned areas according to facility standards

• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces to help maintain a healthy environment

• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed

• Restock housekeeping supplies linens and personal care items

• Follow infection control guidelines and safety procedures at all times

• Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly

• Maintain accurate cleaning logs and supply inventory records

• Assist with deep cleaning projects and special cleaning assignments as directed by management

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping janitorial custodial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required

• Experience in healthcare nursing home assisted living or hospitality settings is a plus

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

• Understanding of proper cleaning techniques and safe chemical handling practices

• Excellent reliability professionalism and work ethic

• Physical ability to stand walk bend lift and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift

• Compassionate and respectful attitude when interacting with residents families and staff
