About the Role:
Assisting Hands - Matteson is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our caring team in Matteson IL! In this role youll make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by creating clean safe and comfortable living environments. Responsibilities:
- Perform general housekeeping duties including dusting vacuuming sweeping and mopping
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms kitchens and common living areas
- Change bed linens and assist with laundry tasks
- Organize and tidy living spaces to maintain a safe and clutter-free environment
- Follow client care plans and adhere to specific household preferences and routines
- Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors regarding any concerns or changes in the home environment
- Maintain cleaning supplies and report when items need to be restocked
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping cleaning or home care experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and care plans
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Compassionate respectful and professional demeanor when working with clients
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client locations in the Matteson IL area
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending lifting and standing for extended periods
- Must pass a background check
