JOB TITLE:

Office Aide - Scheduler

JOB PURPOSE:

Perform office and administrative/management support tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with scheduling basic meetings and room/equipment arrangements for conferences
  • seminars workshops or special events.
  • Perform administrative tasks and projects. Analyze process and maintain information as required.
  • Perform basic reception duties: answer telephone take and transfer messages; screen individuals and calls; refer to appropriate source and/or schedule appointments; answer standard questions those requiring significant interpretation are referred as directed to the appropriate source.
  • Assist supervisor by researching problems and providing resolution(s) as directed.
  • May perform a variety of marketing public relations and special event projects and tasks.
  • May sort mail assist with bulk mailing projects; sort deliver or pick up printed matter for distribution.

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Experience: None

Required licensure certification registration or other requirements: None

Available to start work on August 10th 2026.

Valid drivers license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a wide range of individuals and constituencies.
  • Ability to develop and maintain basic record-keeping systems and procedures.
  • Ability to work as a team member and foster a cooperative work environment.

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at the University of Wyoming.
