Job Summary

Description

This position typically starts at $16.00 per hour and works a variable schedule including evenings weekends and holidays. Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one and fulltime employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days.

The primary responsibility of the Host is to ensure guests are cheerfully greeted whether in person or on the phone and to seat arriving guests in a timely manner. They also serve as the restaurants first and last impression.



Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in full clean uniform with required name tag ID and licenses ready to work with a headsup readytoserve attitude. Keeps personal phones backstage in nonguest areas.

  • Greets all guests and fellow team members warmly and professionally in line with our Family Style Service culture.

  • Welcomes guests provides menus guides them to their tables and offers a friendly initial introduction.

  • Maintains a clean organized and inviting host podium and entrance area ensuring menus are cleaned daily and reporting any menu issues to Management.

  • Helps coordinate seating to ensure a fair and balanced flow for the server team.

  • Learns and maintains basic knowledge of menu items restaurant concepts and service standards to confidently assist guests.

  • Supports fellow Hosts and team members to keep operations running smoothly.

  • Follows all safety procedures and standard operating guidelines.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned with a helpful teamoriented approach.

  • Works a flexible schedule including nights weekends holidays and overtime as needed.



Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • The ability to operate reservation systems.
  • Ability to read write and understand English.

  • Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests coworkers and management.

  • Uses guests names when possible to create a warm personalized experience.

  • Understands and follows all policies procedures service standards and instructions including safety and chemical handling guidelines.

  • Promotes casino events property services and current promotions.

  • Works well independently and as part of a team.

  • Meets attendance and punctuality guidelines and adheres to all regulatory departmental and company requirements.

  • Maintains a neat clean and professional appearance.

  • Passes required background check.
